Everything you see on this website, or ever will see, is made by hand. Mostly by us, some by others that we collaborate with. Designed for life. To be used for a purpose and when, properly cared for, to be used for generations to come.

At Hart and Pine we strive to use all-natural materials. We do our best to avoid plastics and other petroleum products. Wood, metal, leather & glass are our staples.

Transporting things great distances is crap for the planet, so we try not to by sourcing our raw materials locally whenever possible.

Most of the wood we use is foraged, and in there lies a wonderful mystery. Like the stone that doesn’t know what it’s going to be until the sculptor’s hands shape it, so is the wood we find a mystery until it reveals itself in the Hart and Pine Workshop.

Nothing we create will ever be like anything else we create. We aspire to create things that are unique, as well as utilitarian.

We do our best to prepare the products before shipping them, but sometimes, things happen and wood can warp or break. If it does, we’ll replace it.

Shipping

It’s easy. Shipping & Handling anywhere in Canada is a $12 flat rate. $20 for orders to the US. Send us a note to discuss International shipping beyond Canada & US.

Local Pickup is available as an option and is by appointment only. If you want to pick up from our Workshop, please contact us within 24 hours to make arrangements. If arrangements are not made within that time frame the order will be cancelled and items returned to stock in the store.

If it’s defective, or it breaks, we’ll fix it or replace it. Period.

Payments

We currently accept payments via Paypal or Email Money Transfer. If you are paying by Email Money Transfer the transfer must be sent within 24 hours of placing order. Please send the payment to orders@hartandpine.ca, once payment has be sent send a follow up email to the same address with the order number and the security question and answer. If payment is not received within 24 hours the order will be cancelled and items returned to stock in the store.
